LCA Uniform Policy
Our development of a dress code is driven by a desire to create and promote an environment of learning where dress is not a distraction to the educational process.

Dress Code Clarifications
Casual Thursdays
All skirts must be below the knee when standing.
Hair should be clean, neat, an appropriate length and of natural color.
Students are expected to appear neat, clean, and modest during the school day.
Girls may wear one pair of simple earrings, no dangles or larger than a dime. Boys may not wear earrings. Neither girls nor boys may have any other piercings.
Hats may be worn outside for sun protection
All jackets are to be front close-able and have buttons, zipper or Velcro.
Sweatshirts with or without hoods are permitted but must be taken off in the classroom.
Solid color jackets and sweatshirts are encouraged but not mandatory.
Spirit Award or Character Award shirts can be worn any day of the week with dress code approved bottoms.
Jeans, clean, w/o holes, etc.
LCA Logo tee-shirt and/or other appropriate logo tee-shirts
Basketball type long shorts
Dresses, modest, to be no shorter than 3” above the knee.
Multi colored leggings are allowed but are only to be worn under skirts, skorts, jumper or shorts should be no shorter than 3” above the knee.
Students must pay $1 to the student funds to dress down on Thursdays.

Parents must purchase Jumpers online from French Toast (www.frenchtoast.com). The proper jumper for LCA is:

Purchasing Pants (All Grades/ Boys & Girls): Uniform pants can be purchased from any vendor, as long as they are navy uniform pants (must be uniform – no jeans or skinny pants).
Shoes: May be purchased from any vendor. Shoes can be formal, casual or tennis but must be all black, white or grey.
Socks: May be purchased from any vendor.
Girls: Knee high and/or short socks. All socks must be solid black
Boys: Standard boys’ solid black socks.
Outerwear Jackets/sweaters: Must be zippered, buttoned or Velcro closure.
ESA may reimburse for uniforms with receipts from vendors. Check with ESA.
